TerraMaster U4-423 and U8-423 Rackmount NAS Released

TerraMasterpresents the U4-423 and U8-423 rackmount storage servers for SMBs. This server is equipped with a Jasper Lake Intel Celeron quad-core CPU and two 2.5 GbE ports that feature Link Aggregation, allowing for up to 5 Gbps network capacity.

The TerraMaster U4-423 and U8-423 deliver up to 283 MB/s transmission speed, an ideal storage solution for businesses demanding high-performance storage at a very affordable price. The U4-423 and U8-423 also feature comprehensive backup solutions and flexible configurations - supporting a wide selection of RAID types.

Excellent Performance
Compared to our previous-generation rackmount servers, the U4-423 and U8-423 are equipped with an Intel Celeron N5105/5095 quad-core processor with 2.00 GHz and maximum turbo to 2.9 GHz. Both are also configured with 4 GB of DDR4 memory, upgradeable up to 32 GB.

Higher Transmission Speed and Flexible Extension
The TerraMaster U4-423 and U8-423 are configured with two 2.5 GbE interfaces, the transmission speed can reach 283 MB/s (Seagate IronWolf 18 TB x 4, RAID 0). Link Aggregation provides a combined bandwidth of 5 Gbps, this provides a cost-effective solution for multi-user and high-concurrent file access. Furthermore, the U4-423 and U8-423 have a dedicated M.2 slot for NVMe SSD to SSD caching to boost performance.

Flexible RAID Support and File Management Support
The U4-423 and U8-423 support a wide selection of RAID types including Single, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10. The U4-423 supports online capacity expansion and online migration of the RAID array. Both storage servers also support most file services including SMB, AFP, SFTP/FTP, iSCSI, NFS, and WebDAV). This combination provides good flexibility for different data storage applications.

Virtualization Storage Solutions
The U4-423 and U8-423 storage servers feature the TerraMaster iSCSI. This allows the storage servers to support VMware vSphere and Windows Hyper-V virtualization storage solutions.

Pricing and Availability
The TerraMaster U4-423 4-Bay Storage Server and U8-423 8-Bay Storage Server is now available for $799.99 and $1099.99, respectively.
