System requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Electronic Arts and Respawn have revealed the official PC system requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. They recommend 32GB of RAM, AMD Ryzen 7 1700 or an Intel i7-6700K CPU. The game will also require 55GB of free hard-disk space and RX Vega 56 or a GTX 1070 graphics card.

Like most developers/publishers, EA and Respawn have not revealed any additional details. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releases on November 15th, and you can find below its full PC system requirements.

OS: 64-bit Windows 7/8.1/10
Processor (AMD): FX-6100 or Equivalent
Processor (Intel): i3-3220 or Equivalent
Memory: 8 GB
Graphics card (AMD): Radeon HD 7750 or Equivalent
Graphics card (NVIDIA): GeForce GTX 650 or Equivalent
DirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalent
Hard-drive space: 55 GB

Those specs are very reasonable which in itself is quite surprising for EA.

EA are involved so as a rule of thumb check it out next year when it is patched and working and also to see if they have also patched in a pile of MT or not after gamers have bought it. lol

I was kind of crestfallen when I saw how neutered the lightsaber combat was, and for how tame and run-of-the-mill this game looks, I find these system requirements to be absolutely hilarious.

Does this game even push at any boundaries, be it storytelling, gameplay or graphics?
Seeing game development done by accounting and finding it completely absurd when nobody around me seems to care makes me feel like I'm going crazy.

Does anybody else care, or have we just all given up?
