System requirements for Microsoft Windows 11 remain unchanged
Microsoft has reconfirmed that users with outdated systems will not be able to upgrade to the new Windows version due to security reasons, among other things.
The AMD Ryzen 2000 series and Intel's 8000 series CPUs are supported (or newer). TMP 2.0 is also required. The high security requirements, according to Microsoft CEO David Weston, should result in a much more secure system.
“We know it sucks that some aren't going to be eligible for Windows 11, but the great thing to remember is the reason we're doing [this] is to keep devices more productive and [ensure that they have] security than ever before so they can stay protected in this new workforce,”
“Group policy will not enable you to get around the hardware enforcement for Windows 11. We will block you from upgrading your device to an unsupported state since we really want to make sure that your devices stay supported and secure,”
Microsoft announced shortly after the release of the system requirements that it is still reviewing the possibility of supporting Ryzen and Intel 7000 processors from the first generation. No new information has been provided in this area by the developer.

MS logic it free to upgrade to 11
It is indeed a free upgrade, although I consider going for W10 21H2 instead, it will get the most important features too.

Concave to the "free" is most people cant get it for free cause they being told they need new hardware when they dont it all ready been proven older system then there "requirements" can install and RUN win 11 so there "requirements" are not hardware related but softlocks , There are WAY WAY more system out there that below "requirements" then above it so does that really make it "free" to most people? It like saying you can have you cake but you can eat it.
Like I said we all gona see how pans out. as it stand i will stay on win10 till my system dies or can no longer play the pc games i play. maybe I Will make new pc at that point maybe I wont. Last 5+ years I been think I should just switch to Consoles less headache and less i have to deal with MS crap special there updates that dont "cause" issues
MS is gona do what gona do in PC world they have complete monopoly when it comes to PC cause they all run windows OS in some way. as such not suprised by what they do anymore either in PC side of things.
