Synology announced their DiskStation DS419slim, a nas with a place for four 2.5 "storage disks and a cubic housing of relatively limited size. The new nas can have a maximum of 20TB of storage on board.
The unique four 2.5" HDD/SSD support and its ultra-compact design make DS419slim come with more flexibility in both RAID configuration and deployment. Putting everything in the palm of your hand, DS419slim delivers higher capacity within a reasonable budget.

There are USB 3.0 ports on the front and back and Synology has fitted two-gigabit LAN connectors. The suggested retail price sits at 399 euros.
