Swiftech Polaris 120 HSF

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/11/2011 11:00 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

Swiftech shows off their first truly new air cooling product for processors in many years. Named Polaris 120, this cooler offers five 8mm direct-touch copper heatpipes and a large aluminium fin array. Airflow is provided by a 120mm PWM fan that spins at 750 to 2500RPM with a noise level between 13.2dBA and 41.5dBA.

The heatsink measures 135mm x 91mm x 152mm (W x D x H) and weighs 849g. It's compatible with Intel LGA 775/1155/1156/1366 and AMD Socket 754/939/940/F/AM2(+)/AM3 processors.

Swiftech's Polaris 120 should be available in stores this week for just under $60.
