SW Battlefront II Han Solo Season Detailed

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/07/2018 08:13 AM | source: | 4 comment(s)

Just like the other DLC released for the game, players will receive a brand new game mode, Extraction, which is being pulled straight from the first entry in the series. In it, one team attempts to defend a certain point on the map, while the other team attempts to destroy it. In addition to that, players will also be able to get their hands on a new location: the spice mines of Kessel, which will be playable in Blast, Hero, Showdown, Heroes vs. Villains, and aforementioned Extraction mode. Finally, players will be able to sink their teeth into some new cosmetic items, including Solo: A Star Wars Story-inspired versions of Han, Lando, and Chewbacca, as well as a special version of the Millenium Falcon that was featured in the aforementioned movie. All of the new content will be added to Star Wars: Battlefront II on June 12, 2018, and will be available on all platforms.

I didn't think EA was going to put any more money into this to be honest.

Same. My bet is that they had most of these done in advance and just waited for the movies to come out and release them. So they are likely not putting much money into new stuff.

Yeah but I bet they were hoping that Solo was going to be some massive movie that would at least see some pay back for that investment and well, it looks like it is technically a flop.
