As far as i know most power outlets offer a maximum of 1500W. So while this PSU might support 2000W i dont think you may fully use it.


How do you iron your clothes or use vacuum cleaner?

Mine are 3750W. Even if your power outlets rating is 1.5kW, you can use more, but it might overheat or start a fire, it's safety thing. You shouldn't use more than 1.5kW from your power outlet.
If you referring to your home max power output, it should be at least 2kW. Else even your water heater would cut off the power.

Lets hope they have included long enough cables with this PSU. My previous SF had to be returned because the 12v 8pins were to short and couldn't reach to the top of my mobo using the 900d.

I wonder what's the purpose of such PSU. It looks like way too much even for 4x SLI/CF overclocked rigs.

Its exactly for 4 way, but 4 way under LN2 and lots of voltage for extreme Overclocks! ;)
