Story details, release year, and a new map for GTA 6

GTA 6 has been loosely announcing the works for a few months now, and will undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of all time.

But for the time being, we just have unofficial information. According to a fresh report, the main characters of the next game will be twins, and one of the places would be Brazil. This information comes from Matheusvictorbr, a Brazilian known for sharing GTA secrets. He stated that the plot of Grand Theft Auto 6 will revolve around two twin brothers whose parents were murdered by a criminal organization in 2002. As a result, they grew apart. This prologue will take place in Brazil.

The main plot of GTA 6 would take place in 2020, when the twins are adults. The man would be a DEA agent, fighting drug trafficking. And the woman acts on her own to exact revenge on those who murdered her parents. She joins the cartel and works her way through the ranks in order to discover the guy who murdered her parents. You can guess that they'd meet when the brother travels to fight against the sister's gang in secret. According to the leaker, the two will meet in a "complex manner." With this in mind, the source of the report claims that GTA 6 will be the "first" game in the industry to depict the fight against drug trafficking in a realistic manner.

Scenes in GTA 6 will be modeled on locations such as Cuba, Colombia, and Miami. The game would could be ... 2024.

Honestly, if they go the route of all the others and put NFTs in there simply because NFTs, they can take all the time they want...

Honestly, that all sounds great to me. I think that rough story outline has a lot of potential and hasn't necessarily been done to death yet like other ideas. Sounds like the regions would have plenty of satisfying variety, and who wouldn't love to see a modern-day Vice City by including Miami?

Sounds like it would make for an easy Max Payne tie-in. Have him appear, and there's the free promotion for his next game. And wow, it would be great if he was a playable character, even if briefly.

The press release states that since the last game, Max has left New York City behind and "drifted from bad to worse." The press release goes on to say Max has been double-crossed in this new city and is searching for both the truth and a way out. The game is set in São Paulo, Brazil, several years after the events of the ending of the second game.
