Also had my 6gv2 for many years, while I have worn the shift key down on plenty of other keyboards within months the 6gv2 ones just kept working.
Switched to Corsair a year or two ago since I wanted some backlights, the 6gv2 still goes strong on my nephews rig.

You do realize that you have to set repeat speed and repeat delay down to match any new KB.
If you do have this problem while typing then you just have to turn delay up a touch in Windows. Problem solved.

Right, so one faulty keyboard or strange windows settings = "No keyboards worse than steelseries".

Guess you haven't seen some chinese 2$ keyboards...
In any case, typing this message from my 4yr old 6GV2, still works flawlessly like day 1

Probably your faulty keyboard. Have 6gv2 for 5 years not a single issue. Same goes for Sensei mouse for 4 years.
