Shadow of Mordor and Alien:Isolation among the top three, not that surprising. Though I'm pleasently surprised the indie (is it?) Life is Feudal among the top ten. And, Civilization: Beyond Earth... why this pre-ordering sells so well is beyond me...

Iam surprised to see the rehashed reskinned version of borderlands 2 in there, let alone at 2nd place...But Iam not surprised with aliens isolation one bit, that game is brilliant, but I don't think shadow of mordor deserves the top spot...but then again maybe it does, it's just one of those games for the masses, like any batman or assassins creed game.

I agree and I am also happy with Life is Feudal, I didn't play it myself yet, but I heard a good things about it from my mates.

Reskinned? I do not think so, we can say many good and bad things about borderlands but we can't say they just reskin the game and re-release it like it was done with for example metro last light redux or even better example: sleeping dogs definitive edition.

But one point is valid, the same as you i wonder why the hell people pre-order this game at all, everyone perfectly knows the game will get tons of dlcs. People who pre-order this game are brainless. I had an opportunity to get steam key for free and i refused to take it because it is pointless, i would spend on dlcs much more money than for any AAA game on release day. I'm awaiting for goty edition.

C'mon dude, the pre sequel is just another cashgrab from gearbox, little to no inovation, same old boring cheesy storyline, uninteresting griding gunplay and gameplay, just buy borderlands 2 goty for 9.99 and you'll have more fun playing that than this turd.
But one thing we can agree on is the preorder obsession, I never ever in my entire life did that, what do you get for paying money in front of the release? nothing ! You even put yourself in more risk than usual when the game turns out to be horrible, just like it was with watch dogs for example.
Oh and if you're inderested go and have a read the forum thread about season passes and preorder here http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=393484
