Star Wars: Squadrons available October 2nd (+ System Requirements)
EA, Motive and Studios Lucasfilm announced the new game Star Wars: Squadrons on Monday. In the game, players can fly through the universe in starfighters. The game will be available from October 2.
In the offline version, individual players can play a story set during the last days of the Galactic Empire and the rise of the New Republic. The story is set after the events of the movie Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. In addition, players can compete against other players in first-person multiplayer battles. Players then form a squad of five, a squadron, and must attempt to destroy the opponent's flagship. The game supports crossplay. Crossplay allows players to compete against each other via different game platforms.
"We made this game for all the Star Wars fans who have ever dreamed of flying through the universe in their favorite starfighter," said Ian Frazier, creative director at Motive Studios.

Recommended GTX 1070 or RX 570. Did they just see the number 70 and think "that means they are equal!?"
Unless they Mean RX 5700?

Good. 1st game that's super fun with VR. F* are there VR headsets with HDR and Adaptive-Sync?
I still have in place rule to not buy VR headset without adaptive-sync with less than 90Hz. Optimally 120Hz+ and HDR.

Quite modest requirements. And Dx11 only.

The system req. make no sense. Little did they know that rx480 from the minimum is faster than rx570 from the recommended.
