Star Wars Battlefront Gets 8GB update

Star Wars: Battlefront's paid Outer Rim content is now available and DICE has released a new update for it. The big patch brings a host of free content, including spectator mode, Hutt Contracts, a level cap increase and more.

The game's UI has also received some tweaks, not to mention bug fixes.

Additional content/functionality

  • Outer Rim: Now available for Season Pass owners
  • New Feature: Hutt Contracts add a new way of obtaining Weapons and Star Cards
  • New Feature: Spectator Mode introduces a way to watch Private Match games with a variety of camera angles and the ability to swap between players quickly
  • Multiplayer Menu: Redesigned the screen to facilitate players being able to get into a game mode more quickly and easily
  • Multiplayer: Teams will now re-balance when transitioning between maps
  • Teamplay Focus: New feature in which an objective can be highlighted by each player to highlight where players are heading; press X (Xbox One), Square (PlayStation 4), or E (PC)
  • Ranks: Increased Rank cap from 50 to 60
  • Scoreboard: Added icons for playing as a Hero, playing in a vehicle, and player ping
  • Scoreboard: Rearranged Score to be the first column represented
  • Scoreboard: Faded player row to signify when a player has been defeated
  • Combat: Added combat roll to non-Hero characters; strafe and double tap B (Xbox One) or Circle (PlayStation 4), for PC strafe and press Alt (can be rebound)
  • Partner: The Partner Icon will now be visible on screen at all times
  • UX: The currently selected Trait card is now shown in the deploy screen
  • Credits: Updated Game Credits list

I don't have the game because IMO it worths only with season pass (for added contents etc) BUT as most users prive is a negative factor for buying it. Visually looks excellents maybe gameplay is good too for MMO fps but Jesus, so overpriced.
That's why there are few gamers playing it.

No, there are so few gamers playing it because the game is terrible. During closed alpha/beta a bunch of us complained about how imbalanced the Hoth map was and how terribly designed the game (especially the weapon system) was in general. Open beta rolled out and there was literally zero difference, they changed almost nothing from closed.

There is practically no depth to the combat in terms of shooting mechanics. Usually most games supplement that by adding a class mechanic, except they didn't do that either. Want to join a game and play with a friend in a squad? Nope no squads either.

Game is terrible and I'm glad it's failing. Good graphics shouldn't give a garbage game a pass. Even if it was $20 I still wouldn't have bought it.

I mean the actual game is fun to play because it's Star Wars, but that gets old quickly considering as Denial said the game is so unbalanced.
