Square Enix releases Hitman 2016 System Requirements for PC

Square Enix has released the PC requirements for their upcoming Hitman. Graphics card wise the minimum specs are a GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870, indicating, we all should be fine whatever card you have.

The system specs have been posted on the corresponding Steam information page. The reboot of the game is expected to launch March 11th and will cost 50 EURO if you want to play all episodes. Remaining content will be available as six releases periodically throughout 2016, starting April 2016. As Agent 47, you will perform contract hits on high-profile targets in exotic locations around the world.  This game is unique in the sense that you can purchase episodes separately, at 10 EURO each.

  Minimum Recommended
Processor (Intel) Core i5-2500K 3,3GHz Core i7-3770 3,4GHz
Processor (AMD) Phenom II X4 940 FX-8350 4,0GHz
System memory 8GB 8GB
GPU (Nvidia) GTX 660  GTX 770
GPU (AMD) HD 7870 R9 290
OS Windows 7 (64bit) Windows 7, 8.1 (64bit) or 10

I wonder how long it'll take for companies to notice that people are sick and fed up with micro-transaction. Hitman is an action-adventure stealth video game that is currently under development by IO Interactive and will be published by Square Enix for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 11 March 2016.

How else are they going to sell graphics cards? What do you think the real reason gameworks exists? (Nvidia can have their hands in tweaking specific variables like hair tesselation, resulting in unneeded lower performance, and more sales)

Those variables are tweaked by the developer, not Nvidia.

Its a disinformation that can only confuse people. For instance, that 2500k they listed in minimum is faster than FX chip they listen in recommended.

No FX chip can beat overclocked Sandy Bridge.

I'm pretty confident that they aren't factoring in overclocks for the minimum and recommended specs.

Just found out game is sponzored by AMD, so there is a good possibility of solid port.

Why are the recommended requirements on these newer games always so BS.

Its always the GTX 770 vs 290 which are nowhere near close as recent benchmarks have stated, keplers is dead in the water and yet they still list it equal to a 290.

I just recently had a GTX 770 and R9 280x.
The 280x walked the 770 quite a bit.

And the 770 oced as high as possible still didnt touch one of my 290s on stock clocks.

Wonder if this game will die because of eposodic gaming.
Hell half life 2 only made it through 2 episodes.

I am tired of mirco transitions. I just want full damn games and nice big expansions that are worth it.

I will wait until a complete edition is released, and if it's never released as a full game... jokes on them, my money will remain my money.
