TP Vision who is trademarking Philips is listing a new display dubbed 27B1U7903 with. The 27-inch IPS monitor has a 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels). DisplayHDR 1400 is also supported. The latter is ensured by a backlight with 2304 mini-LED zones and Quantum Dot technology.



The novelty also has a contrast ratio of 1300:1, a peak brightness of 1400 cd/m2, a 10-bit color depth, a response time of 4 milliseconds (gray to gray), a color gamut of 154 percent sRGB, 99.2 percent Adobe RGB, 99.1 percent Rec. 709, 97.2 percent DCI-P3, and 80.4 percent Rec. 2020, and a Delta-E value less than 1. If you want to play a brief game in between, you may do so without ripping thanks to Adaptive Sync. However, LFC ("Low Frame Rate Compensation") is unlikely to be used in this case.

Two built-in 3-watt loudspeakers can be used as sound generators if needed. The docking station for the 27-inch monitor contains two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.2 hub, an RJ-45 connector, a headphone output, and Thunderbolt 4 with USB-C 4, DisplayPort alternate mode, and 90 watts of power supply. Picture-in-picture modes and daisy chaining were also studied by the designer. Furthermore, multiple sensors monitor the area and automatically decrease the screen brightness when no one is nearby. On the ergonomic side, you may change the rotation, tilt, height, pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), and blue light filtering. The Philips 27B1U7903 weights 7.02 kg without the stand, measures 613 x 369 x 68 mm (W x H x D), and uses 45.1 watts (eco) or 74.5 watts (standard) (normal). It is uncertain whether the item will be released when it will be launched, or at what price.
