Spain Etailer starts listing retail prices 10th Intel Core. Generation processors
Though the official prices have been announced by Intel, it's always wait and see what the retail prices will be like. One of the largest hardware stores in Spain, if not the largest, listed the prices of several models of this new generation.
To put prices in context, they have been losted next to the 9th. Generation and different AMD Ryzen processors so they can compare prices, obviously all in the same store.

Regarding their date of arrival on the market, “K” and “KF” processors will begin to ship on May 20, while the remaining models will arrive on May 27. On these dates, the reviews corresponding to those models will also be published.

I like how `those prices are higher than expected` becomes `OUTRAGEOUS` and `COMPLETELY INSANE`, `DEAD ON ARRIVAL` so easily.

LOL, they will be out of stock shortly after they launch, yet people here will try and say they are dead on arrival. Intel sells, people. Just cause you don't want to buy or can't afford it doesn't change that fact.

That's life. You pay premium for best in class.
Way overpriced to be able to compete with AMD's price/performance.. no way they will sell like this. Expecting price drops soon.

The chip/lid height can present a problem for older coolers.
A slight mod might be needed and/or care not applying too much pressure.
Or even not able to apply enough pressure if the chip is lower.
Depends how tall these chips are.
My feeling is it wont be a big issue but anything is possible.
They have to put a sticker "LGA 1200" compatible on the box...
Holes and height are the same (It was on intel website when they announced the new socket)
