Sony Unveils New Wireless Portable Speakers SRS-XV800 and SRS-XB100: Powerful Sound and Versatility

Sony Introduces SRS-XV800 and SRS-XB100 Wireless Portable Speakers for Powerful Audio and Enhanced Connectivity, the "SRS-XV800" and "SRS-XB100," both featuring Bluetooth connectivity. 



The "SRS-XV800" sports a 170 x 170 mm woofer and five tweeters (three front, two rear) for robust and comprehensive sound reproduction. Its external input terminals include a microphone, guitar, and USB, allowing for versatile usage in settings like dance studios, gyms, classrooms, and karaoke sessions.

Equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, the "SRS-XV800" offers a maximum communication range of 30 meters and supports A2DP, AVRCP, and SPP profiles, as well as SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs. It has a 25-hour battery life, requiring approximately 3 hours to charge fully. Its waterproof protection rating is IPX4 when positioned vertically and IPX2 when placed horizontally. The "SRS-XV800" comes exclusively in black, with an estimated market price of around USD 727, excluding VAT.

Sony also unveiled the compact "SRS-XB100" wireless portable speaker, designed for easy portability. Despite its small size, it delivers powerful and clear audio using Sony's proprietary technology and a passive radiator. The "SRS-XB100" features Bluetooth 5.3, a 30-meter communication range, and support for A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and SPP profiles, as well as SBC and AAC codecs. The Stereo Pair function enables stereo playback when connecting two "SRS-XB100" speakers. It boasts a 16-hour battery life, taking about 4.5 hours to charge fully. This speaker is waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 protection rating and is available in black, light gray, blue, and orange. The estimated market price for the "SRS-XB100" is around USD 91, excluding VAT.
