Sony shared an announcement, introducing the ELF-SR2, a 27-inch glasses-free 3D display designed for spatial reproduction. This innovative product is slated for launch on June 12th, with an estimated retail price of around $3750 USD.

The "ELF-SR2" represents a significant enhancement over its predecessor, the 15.6-inch "ELF-SR1," released in October 2020. The larger display allows users to closely scrutinize intricate details, making it suitable for a wide range of applications such as industrial design and medical training. This upgrade considerably amplifies its utility and applicability in professional sectors.

Moreover, the "ELF-SR2" integrates a cutting-edge, second-generation high-speed vision sensor, delivering improved tracking capabilities. This sensor precisely detects the viewer's gaze, even under low-light conditions. Additionally, the lens design, specifically tailored for the larger display, enables users to experience lifelike 3D visuals from any angle.

Key specifications of the "ELF-SR2" include a 4K resolution, 400nit brightness, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit color depth, and an approximate 100% Adobe RGB color gamut. Boasting a maximum display of around 1.07 billion colors and a 14ms response speed, this display guarantees vivid and seamless visuals. The color temperature is set at 6,500K, and the viewing angle encompasses 20° upwards, 40° downwards, 25° to the left, and 25° to the right. The interface comprises one HDMI 2.0, one USB Type-C, one USB Type-A, one DisplayPort output, and one audio output. The display also features a built-in 1W monaural speaker.

The "ELF-SR2" sports a slim design, measuring 622mm in width, 51mm in depth, and 419mm in height, and weighing 6.5kg. For versatile mounting options, the VESA mounter complies with a 100 x 100mm pitch.
