Sony Ericsson Xperia Play(Station) phone revealed

Sony Ericsson presented the Xperia PLAY, this is the PlayStation phone. It runs Android 2.3 and features a 4" multi-touch LCD display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution. The device features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor with Qualcomm Adreno 205 graphics and according to Sony Ericsson the hardware will deliver 60 frames per second playback and a gaming battery life of up to 5 hours and 35 minutes. The device features a slide-out PlayStation certified controller and is equipped with a 5MP digicam with LED flash, stereo speakers, Bluetooth and WiFi. The launch date is slated for next month.

The phone ships with many popular PSone and Android games pre-loaded and more than 50 additional titles from 20 game publishers will be available for purchase at launch.
