SK hynix DDR5 MCR DIMM for servers that supports 2 Rank simultaneous access

SK hynix has launched the ultra-high-speed DDR5 memory "DDR5 MCR DIMM" for servers, which was developed in collaboration with Intel and Renasas.

DDR5 MCR DIMM offers "Multiplexer Combined Ranks" technology, which allows for simultaneous access to two ranks via the memory's data buffer. It will be capable of transferring 128 bytes of data to the CPU, which is twice the capacity of a normal DRAM module. MCR DIMM DDR5

As a result, the data transmission rate is said to be at least 8 Gbps, which is more than 80% faster than current DDR5-4800 memory.
