Simply NUC introduced their Intel Rugged NUC Pro, codenamed Arena Canyon Porcoolpine. This new product line from Simply NUC offers a range of rugged mini PCs under their own brand. 

Arena Canyon Porcoolpine, as the fanless version of the Arena Canyon family, combines the power of Intel's 13th Gen Core Processors with the reliability of a fanless chassis, ensuring durability and robust performance without any moving parts.

Charles Abdouch, Simply NUC CTO, commented, "Recognizing the demand for fanless mini PCs in both challenging environments and noise-sensitive desktop setups, we took the opportunity to develop a fanless solution utilizing the latest Intel 13th Gen Processors. With the addition of Arena Canyon Porcoolpine, we can now provide customers with a rugged mini PC that meets their specific application needs, backed by cutting-edge Intel technology."

The Arena Canyon Porcoolpine lineup comprises three models available for pre-order on Simply NUC's global websites, starting at $779. The i7 NUC13ANFi7 model, featuring the 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1360P processor, delivers high-performance capabilities for demanding use cases. For more budget-conscious options, the NUC13ANi5 model utilizes the Intel Core i5-1340P processor, while the NUC13ANFi3 model incorporates the Intel Core i3-1315U processor. Shipping of the units is expected to commence in June. 

The Rugged NUC 13 Pro offers a wealth of connectivity options, including dual HDMI 2.1 ports, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, and four USB-A ports as standard. Users can further expand the functionality of the device through the rear expansion panel, allowing customization to suit specific requirements. The Arena Canyon Porcoolpine also features an onboard 2.5Gb LAN port, with the option to add an additional 2.5Gb port via the rear expansion panel. Enhancements such as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, supported by external antennas, provide a seamless and reliable mini PC experience within the dependable fanless chassis.

Certain configurations of the Arena Canyon Porcoolpine series come with Intel vPro technology, making them ideal for office and factory deployments. These models offer remote manageability and enhanced hardware-level security features, enabling tasks like remote updates and secure file protection. The Rugged NUC 13 Pro ensures round-the-clock productivity and protection for various business environments.
