SilverStone To offer TS12C USB 3.1 Gen.2 Type-C Cloning Docking Station

SilverStone shows their latest USB 3.1 Gen.2 Type-C cloning docking station, the TS12C. This standalone cloning docking station (no computer required) is built with a durable aluminum body and a USB 3.1 Gen.2 Type-C connection interface, and provides two SATA3.0 (6Gbps) slots for 2.5-inch & 3.5-inch HDDs/SSDs.

Supporting offline clone and JBOD mode as well as UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) function for even faster performance, this plug and play cloning docking station is compatible with Windows 7 (32bit/64bit), 8/8.1/10 (32bit/64bit) and Mac OS X 10.5 or later operating systems.

SilverStone TS12C is an external hard drive docking station made to accommodate two 2.5" or 3.5" drive at speeds up to 10 Gb/s with its USB 3.1 Gen 2 capability and Type-C connector. It is packed with features such as UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), so those with computers that support it can take their data transfer rate up another level. TS12C’s tray-less design and JBOD mode also makes it easy to setup and use with any computers. Finally, for those that wish to quickly back up or duplicate data, TS12C is also capable of operating independently by allowing for direct hard drive cloning without the need to connect to a computer.
