SilverStone offers High quality PCIe 4.0 (x16) riser cable (RC05)

SilverStone Technology announced the PCI-Express4.0 (x16) riser cable RC05 that uses a high-quality ribbon cable .

The  riser cable with PCI-Express4.0 (x16) connection that is ideal for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series. The cable is a high-quality ribbon cable that bends flexibly and is equipped with a high-performance EMI shield. In addition, by adopting a reinforced connector that avoids signal loss and enhances durability, it can be used without degrading the performance of the graphics card.

The main size is 117 mm in width, 9 mm in height, 263 mm in depth, and 220 mm in cable length.

Every time i see this riser cables makes me cringe.

Ooooh. They finally were able to create PCIe 4 risers! A good achievement! Bring that to Gamer's Nexus for testing! :p

Every time i see this riser cables makes me cringe.

It only bring issues.
Yet, necessary in small form factor builds. Maybe not you, some people are into that, y'know. (/captain-obvious)

Been using a LinkUp PCIe 4.0 riser since Zen2, was quite expensive but better quality than some others I tried around the same time (trashed some of them since that is how bad they where), never ran into any issues caused by that cable.

Luckily I didn't opt in to try one from NZXT, lol.

Are these pcie 4 riser cables any good ?
I seem to remember reading somewhere that true pcie 4 riser cables didn't actually exist.
