The cable is a high-quality ribbon cable that bends flexibly and is equipped with a high-performance EMI shield. Every time i see this riser cables makes me cringe.
It only bring issues.
Yet, necessary in small form factor builds. Maybe not you, some people are into that, y'know. (/captain-obvious)

Been using a LinkUp PCIe 4.0 riser since Zen2, was quite expensive but better quality than some others I tried around the same time (trashed some of them since that is how bad they where), never ran into any issues caused by that cable.
Luckily I didn't opt in to try one from NZXT, lol.
