Sharp announced the 8K / HDR-compatible 32-inch color management liquid crystal display 8M-B32C1, that's 8K (7,680 x 4,320 pixels) ultra-high resolution display.

With a high-density display of about 280dpi, you could realistically express the texture and shadows of the subject, and you can efficiently retouch and edit while checking the details of photos and images. It also supports two HDR videos, HLG and PQ, and can be used to create video content in a wide range of genres, such as TV programs, movies, and online videos.

Furthermore, the wide color gamut display that covers Rec. 2020 85%, the original technology "SHARP Advanced UCCT" that can display with high uniformity while suppressing color unevenness and brightness unevenness, and "hardware" that periodically corrects the aging deterioration of the display. It has functions such as "wear calibration" and "brightness clipping" that warns of areas that exceed the specified brightness value when displaying HDR images.

Companies like sharp continue to live in the stone age with their retarded pricing. This thing costs 19,999$ in China right now.
Who in their right mind would get this over an Acer X27 bmiphzx.. Their contrast is equally awful at 1000:1, HDR peak brightness
is even higher on the Acer, both are able to be hardware calibrated and the REC.2020 coverage is the same on both units..
why does this crap even exist? Is it because of 8k? For what use at that damn screen size.
