It is possible to use Scythe's mounting upgrade kit (SCMK-1700) in conjunction with Intel's forthcoming LGA1700 platform. The mounting upgrade kit enables Scythe users to adapt their coolers to Intel's new LGA1700 socket with the Scythe mounting upgrade kit. 

The kit will be available for purchase in the United States in mid-November for a suggested retail price of USD 7.99; please place your order through your local Scythe distributors or resellers. Most existing Scythe coolers will contain LGA1700 mounting materials in addition to the mounting upgrade kit, which will be available in the near future.
