Sapphire reveals an air-cooled version of its RX 6900 XT Toxic

Sapphire reveals an air-cooled version of its RX 6900 XT Toxic

Sapphire has announced a new air-cooled version of its Radeon RX 6900 XT Toxic graphics card.  This new edition of the RX 6900 XT Toxic uses the same cooling system from the Nitro + line, simply replacing its color scheme with the color from the Toxic line.

The advantage over the Nitro line is in its PCB, which is designed to achieve a higher level of overclocking, and in the use of the Navi 21 XTX core instead of the Navi 21 XT, which allows it to work at higher frequencies.

Regarding its specifications, this edition of the RX 6900 XT reaches a Boost Clock of 2425MHz and a Game Clock of 2235MHz. As a comparison, the water-cooled RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition achieves a Boost Clock of 2525MHz and a Game Clock of 2375MHz, so the difference when changing the cooling is quite large. Still, it far beats the RX 6900 XT Nitro + SE, which has 2365MHz Boost Clock and 2135MHz Game Clock, making it a better option for those looking for an air-cooled model.

Sapphire has not yet given details of price or availability.

Oh, I am certain what will be "toxic" is the price.
