Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 XT NITRO+ / Pulse Gaming OC equipped graphics cards
We missed out on the press release this week, so here are the two Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 XT cards, the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ and Radeon RX 6600 XT PULSE GAMING OC
In addition to a high-load robust power supply circuit and a very sturdy PCB design, the SAPPHIRE NITRO + Radeon RX 6600 XT GAMING OC 8G GDDR6 is one of the most powerful graphics cards available. The circuit for the PCI-Express power connector includes fuse protection as part of the design. PCI-Express 4.0 is the bus interface used (x8).
The "Dual-X" cooler that was fitted makes use of a hybrid fan blade that is a combination of a quiet fan and a blower fan. The use of the wave fin design improves the cooling capacity of the cooling system. The cooling fan is compatible with "Intelligent Fan Control," which reduces noise by stopping the fan's rotation when it is not in use. The cooling fan is also the original SAPPHIRE removable "Quick Connect," which means that it may be easily replaced if necessary. In addition, it is compatible with the LED lighting function "NITRO Glow" and includes an addressable RGB LED incorporated into the lid of the VGA cooler for enhanced visibility. Game clock is 2,428MHz, boost clock is 2,607MHz, memory speed is 16,000MHz, memory bus width is 128bit, and the system is equipped with GDDR6 visual memory (eight gigabytes). The interface is provided with DisplayPort 1.4 x 3 and HDMI 2.1 x 1 connectors for video and audio. The auxiliary power connector is an 8-pin x1 connector.
There are 119.25 mm of width, 241 mm of length, and 44.82 mm of thickness on the outside of the device.
The SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 6600 XT GAMING OC 8G GDDR6 is equipped with a "Dual-X" cooler, which is a feature unique to the SAPPHIRE PULSE series. Supports "Intelligent Fan Control," which prevents the fan from spinning while it is not in use. It shares the same characteristics as NITRO +, including a PCIe power connector circuit with built-in fuse protection and a good PCB design. Game clock is 2,382MHz, boost clock is 2,593MHz, memory speed is 16,000MHz, memory bus width is 128bit, and the system is equipped with GDDR6 visual memory (eight gigabytes). The interface is provided with DisplayPort 1.4 x 3 and HDMI 2.1 x 1 connectors for video and audio. The auxiliary power connector is an 8-pin x1 connector.
The external dimensions are as follows: width 119.85 mm, length 240 mm, and thickness 44.75 mm. The internal dimensions are as follows:

Consoles targeting that, can do it on paper, but... HD and 1440/60 are the max acceptable with them (what would you expect from a below 500 Euro product lol).
The good point with RX 6600 XT is that they are less expensive and more powerfull in most game than the RTX 3060, and are in stock.
Would it be enough for nice gaming?
For us clearly not enough power and anyway most of us earn enough to get better, but for most people yes, and it is that last target that is interesting money wise for AMD (or NVidia too).
xsx has 2.5x memory badwidth of 6600xt it can easily do 4K if the gpu powering it is like ~2080 Super
6600xt goes from 10% faster than 3060 at 1080p to 4% slower at 4K.Not saying there isn't a use case for buying this card, but good grief are we going back in time to get a 128-bit card at 500eur ?

128 bit Card? are they trying to do a ATI/AMD HD4770 hype again?.

Its clearly supposed to be paired with a Ryzen CPU for maximum performance, preferably a 5000 series.
In times and markets where 3060/3060ti cost at least £100 more it makes perfect sense.
I have ordered the Sapphire Nitro+ 6600XT, looking forward to trying it. I know prices are gonna go up for these cards too because they're super efficient and miners love that.

a "1080p powerhouse" lol
i can't believe while last year's consoles are targetting 1440/120 or 4K they're adversting a 400msrp/700 retail card with this amazing slogan.
