Sapphire appears to be preparing to debut one of the first low-profile RDNA2 graphics cards with a single-slot Radeon RX 6400 PULSE.

The PULSE variant from Sapphire includes 768 Stream Processors and 12 Ray Accelerators. It features 4 GB of GDDR6 memory that operates at a 16 Gbps rate through a 64-bit interface. Due to the card's H264/H265 decoding capability and low power consumption (53W), it may be a viable choice for home theater setups. It is not, however, a suitable solution for transcoding servers, as it lacks support for practically every common codec.  The card is essentially identical to the company's previous low-profile Radeon PRO W6400 product, with a single HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connector, as well as an optional half-height mount. With a TDP of 53 W, the card does not require any additional power connections. AMD initially introduced the Radeon RX 6400 in January for the OEM market, with DIY devices slated to ship in a few days on April 20th.
