SAPPHIRE FP5R Series Embedded Motherboards With AMD Embedded R1000 SoC

Sapphire continues to demonstrate the strength of its embedded systems business division with support for the AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000 SoC with AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics on the FS-FP5R 5x5 and IPC-FP5R Mini-ITX Embedded platforms.

Ideally suited for applications requiring a high speed communications front-end like a mini-server or high resolution display products such as electronic gaming machines, medical imaging, interactive digital signage, thin clients, or POS terminals, the  SAPPHIRE FS-FP5R 5x5,  IPC-FP5R-10GE Mini-ITX  and  IPC-FP5R-1GE Mini-ITX  embedded motherboards support the latest AMD Ryzen Embedded R-Series SoC which features the Vega 3 GPU graphics combined with the high-performance ‘Zen’ CPU Core. Key Features include support for three independent 4K displays in addition to dual-channel DDR4-2400 SODIMM memory, dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet Controllers and M.2 expansion for WiFi and SSD modules.

“With the launch of Ryzen Embedded R-Series SoC, AMD continues to shape the future of embedded computing enabling key partners like SAPPHIRE to design and deliver scalable and feature rich products across a wide range of applications”, comments Paul Smith, Director of SAPPHIRE Technology Embedded Division.

“AMD is proud to provide Sapphire with the latest AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000 SoC to power Sapphire’s FS-FP5R 5x5 and IPC-FP5R Mini-ITX Embedded platforms,” said Stephen Turnbull, director of product marketing, Embedded Solutions, AMD. “We look forward to our continued collaboration to create scalable and feature-rich, next-generation systems built with AMD embedded products.”
