Announced a few months ago are the first micro SD card with a capacity of 1 TB, which is staggering for such a small card. They are now becoming available, in their own WD store you can spot these puppies at 522 euros with a 449 USD msrp.
It's also available on Amazon in some regions, Western Digital announced the card back in February. The SanDisk Extreme SD card has read speeds of up to 160 MB/s and write speeds of up to 90MB/s, says Western Digital. It is a UHS-1 card that, thanks to WD's own technology, achieves higher reading speeds; UHS-1 goes standard up to 104MB / s.
- Built for extreme conditions temperature proof, water proof, shock proof, and x-ray proof(3)
- Delivers 4K Ultra HD and Full HD video recording and playback(1)
- Meets the new UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and UHS Video Speed Class 30 (V30) for 4K UHD(4)
- Transfer faster with read speeds up to 90MB/(5)
- Up to 1TB2 for more space to catch the thrill
- Capacity: 1TB
- Read Speed: up to 90MB/s(5)

The price tag is steep but it does come with a lifetime warranty, well 30 years in Germany and Canada. Lifetime warranty in regions not recognizing "limited" warranty. Amazing though that they can fit 1024 GB on that incredibly small microSDHC card.
