Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy A9 smartphone. The device has no less than four cameras on the back. This means that the device has twice as many cameras as on previous recent Galaxy phones such as the S9 and Note 9.

The Galaxy A9 will be sold for 599 euros. This makes the device more expensive than previous phones that appeared in the A line. The primary camera on the back of the phone has a resolution of 24 megapixels and an aperture of f / 1.7. The phone also has a telephoto lens that can zoom in twice, with a resolution of 10 megapixels. The 8 megapixel wide-angle lens has a wider viewing angle.

Finally, the phone has a 5-megapixel portrait lens that shoots images with a low depth of field. This only makes the subject in focus. This is useful for portraits, among other things. Smartphones are processing more and more cameras in the back of their devices. A few years ago most large companies switched to two lenses behind, for different viewing angles and higher resolution. Huawei provided its P20 Pro with three cameras.

In November, the quad-camera smartphone from Samsung has to be on store shelves in the color combinations Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink. The Galaxy A9 will be yours for 599 euros.
