Samsung Galaxy S3 sales soar on lawsuit and iPhone 5 news

Samsung Galaxy S3 sales soar on lawsuit and iPhone 5 news

Mobile app analytics firm Localytics analyzed data of new Samsung Galaxy S III device activations and concludes the South Korean electronics giant were actually helped by news regarding the Apple lawsuit as well as the iPhone 5 announcement. During both weeks, sales of Samsung's flagship phone saw a big growth spike.

The first spike in weekly growth coincides with the same week that a jury awarded Apple $1 billion for Samsung infringing on Apple’s patents. The deluge of post-litigation press coverage both drove general attention to Samsung and suggested that Samsung devices were similar enough to iPhones to be an option for many consumers.

The second spike started the week of September 12, when Apple announced the new iPhone 5. Apple’s announcement was quickly followed by hundreds of stories comparing the two phones, most of which again suggested they were similarly capable. That combined with the slowdown in new Galaxy S3 growth seen leading up to Apple’s announcement (week-over-week new devices were the same as the previous week, resulting in 0% growth) suggest that many consumers were waiting to hear about the new iPhone before making a decision (thanks dvhardware).

Maybe someone told them that with Galaxy SIII they can correctly find their way to the nearest Apple Store to buy iPhone 5.

i absolutely love my S3, it's running superbly here, rooted and all.

i can't keep my hands off it, almost beats touching breasts (because breasts can't run games, emulators and apps)

i can't keep my hands off it, almost beats touching breasts (because breasts can't run games, emulators and apps) You lack imagination then :P
Games: Haven't you ever slapped them titties and watch em wobble, that's gaming at it's best.
Emulator: Haven't you ever used those titties and pretend they are another part of the female anatomy, great emulators.
Apps: See games, how long do they wobble, best seismic app I've seen.

I loved my S3, until my fat assed, big titted hoe sat on it and broke the screen within 3 days of owning it.
Now I'm stuck playing with her breasts until I can get a replacement.
