Samsung debuts pair of eco-friendly LCDs

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 04/07/2009 10:00 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

Samsung in its home market of Korea unveiled the SyncMaster 70 Series of LCD monitors, made up of 20- and 23-inch models. Each is made with an emphasis on environmental friendliness, and are said to use up one third less energy than Samsung's regular LCD panels of the same size. Featuring the company's Touch of Color design, the only hard specs known at this time include a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and a 2ms panel response time.

Neither a release date nor pricing information have been released by Samsung.
