Ryzen 9 5900 & Ryzen 7 5800 inbound for OEM and PC Builders
Thus far AMD is offering four models of its Ryzen 5000 series processors based on the new "Zen 3" microarchitecture, two new models will arrive soon. AMD is planning the Ryzen 9 5900 and Ryzen 7 5800 two desktop CPUs with 12 and 8 cores and lower power consumption, likely intended for pre fab PCs.
The clock rates of these two processor models are undiscovered just yet, but “Thermal Design Power” (TDP) is reduced from 105 watts to 65 watts compared to the previous Ryzen 9, according to the Twitter users momomo_us and Patrick Schur, who are known for their leaks 5900X and Ryzen 7 5800X, the clock frequencies should also be a bit lower.
Ryzen 7 5___X
- OPN: 100-000000064
- TDP: 65 W
- Cores: 8/16
- L2: 4 MB
- L3: 32 MB
Ryzen 9 5___X
- OPN: 100-000000062
- TDP: 65 W
- Cores: 12/24
- L2: 6 MiB
- L3: 64 MiB
It is not yet known whether and when the new AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with 12 cores and Ryzen 7 5800X with 8 cores will be offered in the first complete systems and whether they will also be available individually as so-called tray versions.
In October there were already rumors about another Ryzen 5000 CPU model without an 'X' appended to its name. The Ryzen 5 5600 with six cores should therefore appear at the beginning of next year and be a lot cheaper than the previous Ryzen 5 5600X. Similar to the Ryzen 5 3600 and 3600X from the "Zen 2" generation, the Ryzen 5 5600 should also be clocked a little lower than the current 5600X.
Patrick Schur also revealed that AMD is planning its APUs based on Cezanne, which would be the G series and would have a TDP of 65W. The proc family would debut with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with 8 cores and 16 threads, while the Ryzen 5 5600G will do so with a configuration of 6 cores and 12 threads of processing. At the moment, the other details such as the frequencies, integrated graphics, or the TDP have not yet been released.
AMD very likely will introduce these desktop APUs at CES 2021, alongside Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors and maybe .. the AMD Radeon RX 6700.

I was just about to order my wishlist, but then i was like: "But i can wait a little longer".
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Asus ROG Strix B550-E Gaming
HyperX Fury Black HX436C17FB3K4/32 (Low Profile for the D15)
Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black
Perhaps the 5800 will make the 5800X drop in price a little.
Heck, i may even get a 5900 non-X if the performance is there.

All I want for this xmas is that stock builds up, prices won't go down if the goods are "out of stock".

Hope prices will drop once the market has been flooded with Ryzen goodness!
