Ryzen 7000X3D with 100 MB of cache already planned for this year
AMD aspires to be the leader in gaming performance. This CPU would be released shortly after the Ryzen 5 7600X, Ryzen 7 7800X, Ryzen 9 7900X, and 7950X.
AMD's Ryzen 7000 processor with 3D V-Cache technology is rumored to become available around the end of 2022. This year, a few months after the main range of Ryzen 7000 processors with Zen 4 was released. According to Greymon55, one of The Red Team's facilities has already begun mass production of the Ryzen 7000X3D, codenamed Raphael-X. AMD tested the power of 3D V-Cache technology with Zen 3, thus Raphael-X will almost definitely include many models, including the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D.
A 6-core Ryzen 5 7600X3D with a lower cache, most likely around 64MB, could also be in the works. AMD appears to have a wide range of processors planned for the coming years alright. Due to efficiency (5nm + architectural optimizations), gaming performance (10% IPC, faster clocks, V-Cache), and content production performance, AMD may be able to reclaim market dominance.

I wonder, though... who's supposed to buy the non X3D cache models now that they leaked they're planning to release those in 2022 still?
Do they even launch the full lineup without 3D cache?
Intelligent non-gamers are gonna prefer the standard chips, because they perform better in non-gaming tasks whilst being less expensive.

if x3d models are gonna carry over 50% price premium like 5800x3d
85% here in Poland

Fair argument. Semi pro users probably like that performance.

Yeah... if the price difference is that high, that's a bummer indeed.
I was just more thinking in the way of, if AMD already spoilers their gaming CPU, most gamers won't be touching the normal lineup and already wait out, crippling AMD sales in the meantime. But I guess it all depends on price of the normal lineup, and the 3D cache lineup eventually.
But yeah, I just checked, that price premium's hefty with the 3D cache over the standard 5800X

Price to performance on the upcoming 3Dv cache CPU's based on pricing for the 5800X3D is the worry. AMD have moved pricing up a tier across the whole range taking a leaf out of Intel's playbook but with Alder Lake things have changed, especially as Intel have kept prices in check and in fact pretty much undercut on price to performance on the gaming side with the 1200 and 12400. The 3D vcache versions will need to be priced well or they will be in trouble especially as the new 7000 series will be DDR5 only, so new motherboards on top of that. This is where Intel were smart on DDR4 and DDR5 motherboards which is going to be the same on Raptor Lake. Saved me a bundle by going for the DDR4 version and reusing my RAM on Alder Lake..Hopefully the new Zen launch will be stellar, followed by a stellar launch by Intel...we all win.

gonna take a lot of money to build a 1440p 240hz system, although monitors are actually quite affordable.
you need 6900xt/3080ti no less, and a 12900k
