Ryzen 7000X3D Series Mentioned in Leaked AMD Roadmap
The Ryzen 7000X3D series is real, according to what is said to be a leaked slide from AMD's client product roadmap. AMD's processor roadmap will still include 3DV Cache technology.
The 3DV Cache technology was a big part of how AMD's "Zen 3" microarchitecture from the previous generation could match or beat Intel's "Alder Lake" in gaming performance, with a performance boost of between 10 and 25%. The bar is set high for 3DV Cache to pull off another miracle with "Zen 4".
The popular desktop platform will get an update that includes 3D V-Cache (X3D) versions, which are listed as TBA (to be announced). Since the Ryzen 7000 series just came out yesterday, you might think that the roadmap is pretty new. Also, AMD's Ryzen G-Series should get a new version next year, probably in the form of the Ryzen 7000G series. We can only see a block starting in the second half of the year, which suggests that 5000G will be replaced by then. But it looks like AMD still wants to keep some 4000/5000G series around, so it is clear that AMD has not said goodbye to the AM4 socket yet.

DDR5-6000 Memory is the Sweet Spot For AMD Ryzen 7000 Zen 4 CPUs (update) - 09/01/2022 08:54 AM
AMD's Ryzen 7000 Zen 4 CPUs appear to have DDR5-6000 as their sweet spot, allowing for a 1:1 IFC ratio. A 1:1 ratio indicates that the memory operates at the same frequency as the memory controller o...

I really hope that they release 7900x3d but problably only 8 core version is relased because of the high temps or they are dropping frequency over 1000mhz.
I have 5800x3d myself and the temps are very high allready without the pbo2 tuner software so amd really need to bin those versions much better or getting a revised stepping.

If they got a hang on the voltage issues with the first 3d CPU perhaps they should release a higher clocked 5800x for AM4 too.
Lots of people who do not want to pay a lot to change to a more expensive platform.

congrats on keeping it this long ! had one too
- if you care about lanes don't even look at Intel, I have a 12900k it's a single pcie slot chipset I can't use the gen5 m.2 or it disables pcie_2 and halves the bandwith of pcie_1 it's horrible
- 5950x+ X570 was clearly better pcie slots wise I could use two while keeping the gpu x16
- 7950x I will see on my motherboard, infos aren't clear if the gen5 m.2 messes with the pcie slots lanes (they definitely go x8 with 2 cards tough, the msi I want is x16 x0 x4 or x8 x8 x4)
- 13th gen I didn't check X790 but since cpus are compatible with my Z690 I don't see how it could change much and z690 manages to be worse than Z390 (those m.2 ports steal all the bandwith)
and yes I can confirm that rtx 3080-90 need fast cpus, in shadow of the tomb raider after upgrading the cpu the game went from cpu limited to gpu limited
but you don't need an ultra recent pc to change that a i9 9900k will feed your 3080 no problem (no lanes tough)

Well, this might be the obvious gamer's choice. But I already have 5800x3d so I'll probably skip this generation.
