Ryzen 7 2700X Proc Spotted - 300 MHz extra on Clocks Frequencies
Youtube User Tum Apisak has been responsible for a number of leaks and spots, often he was spot on. That said, he posted a screenshot of what seems to be a Ryzen 7 2700X processor in the 3DMark database. If this is a true valid screenshot when compared towards the Ryzen 7 1700X, the base clock is 300 MHz higher and the Turbo reached 4100 MHz.
The screenshot reveals pretty much all we need to know and expect about the 12nm Zen+ update and leaves little else to say. So let's keep things simple and understandable and compare the 2700X towards the 1700X.

With the base clock raised you should see some better single core performance, and combined with a Turbo to 4100 MHz, things would look pretty good. I can only assume that XFR remains active as well, which could boost another 100 MHz also. Tum Apisak did not share a link, he never does.
Ryzen 2000 are 12nm Zen+ optimized Ryzen processors, the 'refresh' SKUs so to say. 12nm Zen+ processors will work with your X370 chipset based motherboard, however, AMD will launch the new X470 chipset alongside the new Zen+ processors. The new chipset should offer small improvements and use less power. Details in specs are not yet known though.

That's looking great if true.
Will certainly be looking out for a 2600... that'll be sweet value.

yea, that +5/10% performance will make it a "beast". Right.

You speak as a intel fanboy, only they are expecting 5-10% improvements every 6-8 months with a new socket/chipset/motherboard!
That 4.1 Ghz it's at least 15-20 % improvement over the 1000 series.

Kind of underwhelming.. I was hoping for a 4.2/.3 boost and hopeful ability to take it .4/.5 clocking. I doubt the headroom for ocing will increase. Gonna wait for Zen 2 - unless of course this information is inaccurate.

Ill be upgrading my 1700X to this one or the new 2800X i realy need a bit more core speed , iam currently running my cpu @ 3975mhz if these manage to get all cores at 4400 it will truly be a beast for gaming and probably on par with the 8700k for gaming .
