Ryzen 5 and 7 Vega Mobile Raven Ridge APU Spotted
Over at the Compubench and GFXBench databases some new entries appeared for what likely is the name of Radeon Vega 10, a mobile graphics codename. Two units appeared in the database one with 8 and the other with 11 Compute Units.
Multiply the numbers by 64 and that is 512 and 704 Shader processors. The Ryzen 7 2700U is listed as integrated graphics solution code-named Radeon Vega 10 Mobile. And the Ryzen 5 2500U is listed as Vega 8 Mobile based upon the OpenCL listing:
- RADEON VEGA 8 MOBILE — CL_DEVICE_MAX_COMPUTE_UNITS: 11
- RADEON VEGA 10 MOBILE — CL_DEVICE_MAX_COMPUTE_UNITS: 8
It is expected that late this year AMD will launch Ryzen for Mobile. It is expected that the APUs will have up to four cores and eight threads, earlier pre-production samples already have been running at 3.0 to 3.3 GHz.
