Ryzen 3000 processors are getting listed Ryzen 9 3900X for € 550
The euro prices of AMD's new Ryzen 3000 processors are now actively listed. AMD already announced suggested retail prices in US dollars during the announcement, but the exchange rates always mix that up a bit. We now see that the Ryzen 9 3900X with twelve cores is online for just under 550 euros.
As you know all presentations always show the MSRP for products. Often excluding VAT. That's the same for all companies of course. The Portuguese webshop is listing the entire line-up. The 12-core processor is 550 euros incl VAT, you'll need € 273.90 for the Ryzen 5 3600X with six cores and Ryzen 5 2600X costs around 200 euros on average. Presumably, those prices are going to drop after launch, also Portugal taxes 23% VAT. Typically a month or so after launch, prices drop close to MSRP and then incl VAT (depending on your country). Here is an overview of how the procs currently are listed at globaldata.pl

So it's the same pricing as Intel, only a newer generation (presuming, anything new from Intel will cost the same). Also, the 3000 series is pricier in the Eurozone (funnily enough, the 2000 series is much closer to the dollar value, often cheaper). Great...

While we are on about AMD prices, which is sort of on topic, LDLC.com in France/Europe have the 2700X Wraith Prism (8c/16t) at 279€95 until the 26th June included.
Reduced from 349€94.
(Must be recent, I checked Saturday, and the discount wasn't there then).
Thats just 10€ more than the 2700 non-X.
Clearing out some room for new stock ?

Regular (Wraith Spire) new 2700 costs 226 Euro here. Including 21% tax.
2700X comes at 297 Euro, including same 21% tax.

550 Euro is OK for me on 3900X as long as it includes tax
