Rumor: GeForce RTX 3060 to have 4864 shader cores?
GeForce RTX 3090, 3080, and 3070 hey, they're coming. But the big-ticket item for most will be the GeForce RTX 3060 of course. That product has been unannounced but according to the usually well informed Twitterer 'kopite7kimi', the RTX 3060 Ti would get fitted with a GA104-200 GPU that holds 4868 Shader cores.
That could be the SUPER model though, so a more dimmed down version or SKU could initially be released. If true it would be a powerful card really, an RTX 3070 has 5888 shader cores. Of course, there's always the possibility we'll see multiple 3060 SKUs. According to a registered RTX 3060 video card at the EEC, the card would get 6 GB GDDR6 (not GDDR6X) memory ties to a 192-bit wide memory bus.

Have you ever checked those Steam Hardware surveys? 4K gaming is still miniscule there. And the economy isn't exactly brilliant either.
Anything else you feel like you need to fight over with?
You know that you can buy TV for less than 299€ nowadays right? A cheap 4k TV costs as much as Xbox series S on average. It is not excuse. Games aren't free. Only 1% of console gamers use hdr in a resolution smaller than 4k. Everything is a fiasco for me.

What is steam? Who knows steam? Who knows Valve? Who is Gabe Newell? Move on with nobodies please. I do not care for shady surveys. They could even shove in my throat that people plays at 720p.
And we are talking about consoles here, not pc. Even elderly people achieved to buy cheap 4k TVs under 500$. 4k is mainstream for most users. New channels, faster internet, better signal reception.
Only monitors are mostly stuck in 1080p. OK now?

I'm not the one crying. Read my first post. That's exactly what I purported.
Are you done now being all sulky and stupid?
You said that models should be compared based on price - which they shouldn't. They should be compared directly to the model they replace.
Price points change, and that's just tough luck if you are poor.

And then there is the Xbox Series S which will likely only dedicate 4GB of VRAM. Only "dumbasses", aka the majority, would buy those, right?
6GB will be fine with medium settings and Sampler Feedback.
399$ for medium setttings? Where has this world come to.
