ROG Hyperion full-tower gaming case from ASUS (420 EUR)
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the release of the ROG Hyperion GR701, a full-tower gaming case that sets a new standard in luxury, performance, and DIY building. The Hyperion boasts a completely redesigned aesthetic that exudes luxury and style.
With the ever-evolving world of PC building, a case needs to support the latest and greatest technologies, and the Hyperion does just that. It features an airflow-focused design with large channels at the front and a grille at the top to ensure components stay cool and perform optimally. The case also supports up to two 420mm radiators, making it perfect for heatsinks, all-in-one cooling systems, or custom-designed water cooling setups.
The Hyperion raises the bar for ROG cases and showcases a commitment to uncompromising quality, design, and performance. Whether it's for gaming or other demanding applications, the Hyperion is the ultimate choice for anyone looking to build a high-performance PC with a touch of luxury.
A large and adaptable interior
ROG Hyperion was also designed with next-gen components in mind. It supports E-ATX motherboards, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C® ports on the front, and plenty of slots for future expansion. The latest graphics cards in particular achieve unprecedented performance values and have large heat sinks that keep them cool and quiet. And the Hyperion is spacious enough to house even the largest graphics cards like the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090. The card can be installed either traditionally horizontally with a width of up to 460mm or vertically with up to 130mm of space for current and future models. Built-in two-way aluminum graphics card bracket prevents flexing of the card in either direction, no matter how big it is,
ASUS has provided 34mm of space behind the motherboard for all cabling, with multiple cable grommets and a wide rear panel with integrated Velcro straps to keep everything tidy. The clear acrylic door allows users to store all cables before attaching the back panel. This also creates more space for heat dissipation. A built-in ARGB controller accommodates all Aura Sync devices and supports up to eight ARGB devices and six PWM fans.
Developed for customizers
The Hyperion is a full-featured case with plenty of room to work without being colossal. And the little touches are what really take the Hyperion to the next level. With most cases, users have to stash extra screws, cable ties, and PCIe® slot covers in a box somewhere and hope they don't get lost before the next upgrade. ROG Hyperion offers a small built-in drawer on the bottom that can be used to store screws, accessories, and even a small screwdriver. The side panels are completely tool-free and the PSU cover has been designed to ensure airflow and the holes are small enough to prevent screws from falling through.
The signature ROG experience
After all, no case is complete without the aesthetic touches that set it apart from the crowd. The area next to the motherboard offers space for a radiator, ARGB fans, multiple 2.5-inch SSDs, or - if the user doesn't need the extra space - they can install the included lighting panel, which will add a ROG flair to the otherwise empty space gives. The aluminum frame of the case doubles as sturdy handles that run down the front of the case and meet under a black-tinted ARGB logo.
ROG Hyperion is the go-to choice for the latest components with superior cooling and to grow with the user's needs as the DIY PC space changes rapidly.

I'm a 'bit of an Asus fanboy' but this case is HIDEOUS imho, just changed to a Corsair 5000T (the courier company trashed my CM H500 Mesh) and that's a model of elegance compared to this ROG Hyperion fugly. And those who rightly complained that the 5000T was expensive enough, well this Asus case is even more.

There were good full towers available around that time and they don't deserve to be compared to this overpriced junk

Not my taste either. The issue I see with that case is poor airflow and at such a bargain price :p
Tom's Hardware has plenty of forum posts with guys shoving a 13900k and 4080 into a case like this and end up with thermal throttling issues.
My HAF was a great gigantic case. Once was enough with gigantic.

Ok ugly looks and all let's skip that.... But what exactly making this case worth 420 euros ??????!
Does it come with build in water cooling or at least a decent I guess Asus psu? (Anyone remembers that cases where often bundled with a terrible psu and was a common practice? )
