Rockstar on GTA V Mods States that You should not worry
Rockstar has officially stated that PC gamers should not worry about being banned just for using single-player mods.
“I’m having soo much fun with GTAV on the PC but I just have one question about it, how come you are not allowing mods for it?” - @ClarkMatthew63 “Will I get banned from GTA Online for using a FoV Mod or Oculus Rift mod?” - @Mattophobia
We have always appreciated the creative efforts of the PC modding community and we still fondly remember the awesome zombie invasion mod and original GTA map mod for GTAIV PC among many other classics. To be clear, the modding policy in our license has not changed and is the same as for GTAIV. Recent updates to GTAV PC had an unintended effect of making unplayable certain single player modifications. This was not intentional, no one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods. Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing. It also bears mentioning that because game mods are by definition unauthorized, they may be broken by technical updates, cause instability, or affect your game in other unforeseen ways.

LOL it's really simple. You are complicating it all by yourself. If you don't understand the simple premise that playing in SP with mods is fine but not MP then I'm afraid you're really not too bright. But I don't want to assume that. Maybe you're simply being difficult?
Then there still is no category on a list saying SP mod or MP mod. They should have just said 'don't mod MP games or we'll ban you', and not 'SP mods'. You might be true, I might be complicating it, but they're not helping anybody with using that wording there.
Dude, self explanatory.
Do not mod multiplayer
If your multiplayer experience is different then someone elses multiplayer experience because of something you have done to the game, you deserve to get banned.
And yes, modding the game mods both, while you have modded the single player, don't play the multiplayer, disable, remove, etc. all mods because playing multiplayer.
There's really no question here. If you hear "Don't mod multiplayer" and you still have a question of "but what if i...." i'm not sure how much simpler it can be
They did not say 'don't mod MP', but they said 'use SP mods'. The wording is what I don't get.

"Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing" .. so make what you will of that, does FOV belong in there? The feeling sick from low FOV in firstperson is part of the experience!
If you aint getting sick, then your cheating. Lol.
I understand that a case can be made that you can see more. But you can already see alot more just by scrolling out in thirdperson. So I don't see the big deal.
I'll just hope they make the ingame FOV slider go higher.
