We test the new MLC NAND based Toshiba OCZ VX500 series SSDs. This new model positions itself in the mainstream SSD segment fighting with the Samsung EVO series. It is an SSD series that is 100% Toshiba proprietary, that includes the controller and 15nm MLC NAND flash memory.

this is one cool product the coolest thing in the warranty, if you live in a place where it applies :nerd:, still Toshiba MLC with a Toshiba controller is a nice mix and a good value

I have this SSD, always been a fan of OCZ drives. Really nice price/performance for this one.

One of my SSDs is an OCZ Vector 180 and the 5 years SHIELD Warranty is actually so cool.

Strange, strange user posts here...

I am wondering when projects the old OCZ was working on start to appear. This is more Toshiba OEM rebranding. I'd take this VX500 with its mlc over a 3D TLC drive though.
