Review: TeamGroup Cardea Ceramic C440 PCIe 4.0 NVMe

Hold on tight as we shift into sixth gear with the TeamGroup Cardea Ceramic C440 PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSDNVMe. This bad boy reaches super fast transfer rates passing 5 GB/sec. Put it into a Ryzen 3000 / B550/X570 based PC, and witchcraft happens as you are operating at 4000 to 5000 MB/s for reads and writes, thanks to the new PCIe 4.0 interface and a bit of TLC with Phison, well Kioxia strictly speaking.

In our opinion, the Ceramic layer is not a valid reason to purchase this model over the Z440 one.

WHY?

Can you please stop slapping the "Recommended" badge on everything, including stuff YOUR OWN ARTICLE says it's not recommended ?

WHY?

Because this was a forum for people that can use reason.

The 1TB model will sell at 199 USD, that's at the same level as the Sabrent PCIe 4 X4 revision and other competitors, roughly 20 cents per GB.

This model has the same price of other PCIe 4 X4, similar performances, so yes is recomended, since is one of the fastest.
The ceramic is useless and is just a visual gimmick as any other product with RGB. Do we deny the recommended logo to everything that has RGB? no.
