Review: Palit GeForce GTX 950 Storm Dual

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 08/20/2015 02:49 PM | source: | 9 comment(s)

In this review we check out the 2GB version of the Palit GeForce GTX 950. The GTX 950 is the entry-level to mainstream graphics card in the Maxwell range of GPUs from Nvidia. Palit offers it in a Storm-Dual version which we hope lines up with the dual-slot-dual-fan cooler. Let's check it out, shall we?

good stuff for 150$, but it gonna cost more in Europe therefore canceling it's value immediately.

the max i would pay for such a card is 150$, but even that feels too much.

what a price ???
the GTX950 cost only 10 buck less than the GTX960, and 20 more than the R7 370
???

Something wrong in there.

Here in Portugal it costs 199€, now that´s what i call "lulz". Gotta love the lulz. The gtx 960 is only 20/30€ more expensive, so despite the value overcloked, these puppies won´t shine unless a price cut is in the works.

Seems every year it passes the harware gets ever so more expensive regardless of segment. In five years then what, 300€ for this segment and 1000€ for the single gpu top dog? For gods sake!
