Review: Palit GeForce GTX 1080 GameRock Premium Edition with G-Panel

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/17/2016 09:55 AM | source: | 39 comment(s)

We review the Palit GeForce GTX 1080 GameRock Premium Edition, this version has a G-Panel included to externally monitor your graphics card in relation to temps, rpm and clocks. The product looks totally different opposed to what you are used too in a black and white coating. Don't let the looks fool you though as this card runs very fast, in fact it is the fastest tested to date.

Impressive card, I also like that it's 3 slot, and the color does fit some white builds. For me though, it's still got to be black & red. :P

Super review and a superbly quiet card. One thing worries me though. In the MSI Afterburner screenshot the fan speed jumps to 2000 rpm every now and then. Is that really happening or is it just read error from the fan?

I'd say that it's either read error either leftover from manually adjusting the fan.

Yup. Gainward Phoenix design looks kinda better than this Palit. Color scheme is also.
