Review: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founders edition graphics card
The embargo has been lifted, we review the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founders edition. This 8 GB GDDR5X based spawn of something evil is fabbed with all new Pascal architecture and yes, 16 nm FinFET has arrived. It's impressive, it's silent and it rocks hard when it comes to sheer performance. We'll test the card with the hottest new game titles based on DX12, DX11 and OpenGL.

HOLY ****!
THIS IS HILARIOUS

This guy tore out his PCI-E slot when removing the graphics card, live, on Twitch. Ahahahaha
Is there a replay of this somewhere? Watching people do stupid things makes me feel better about myself.

So it's the 27th here in the UK and the GTX 1080s are still showing as "coming soon" on Scan and EBuyer's websites?
Are they not going on sale today then? What's the point in releasing hardware for sale on a certain day if you cannot actually get hold of it on that day? I would have thought you'd have been able to pre-order for delivery today as is normally the case with other stuff. It's not like the GTX 1080 is a big secret as it was revealed over two weeks ago in a so-called "paper" launch!!!

Lol that's JP McDaniel. He used to run SOTG for SC2, no idea what he does aside from destroying his computer apparently.
Poor guy
Man, that was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
In October I helped a clueless friend of mine build his PC. On Skype.
It was going relatively well, he had mounted his (semi-modular) PSU in the case, was walking him through all the power connections, when he asked me the following question
"Should I plug in the cable ?"
Me: What do you mean the cable ? Just route the wide 24-pin cable round the back and then back in near the right side of the motherboard.
"So I should plug it in ?"
At this point I was confused, so I asked him to show me the PSU. So he moved his laptop to the floor, and I found myself looking at the back of his case, at his PSU, with the 24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU + 2 PCI-E connectors sticking out of the back of the case
xD
