I am so glad to still have my $699 Rtx3080 for 4k60fps gaming on most games. Now on water as well max 300w or less

These releases is a joke.. The pricing is totally horrible and putting extra gigs and upping just a little on the rt cores and shader is a bad approuch at this point due to the high pricing. Nvidia will for sure loose market share this Year. Because most People will not be that stupid to spend that much money for 10% upgrade in perf. or less

Just going to wait for the rtx 4000 series to enable 8k60fps and 4k 120fps as standard. But if they use 500w it will be a nightmare power consumption wise and also Even if the prices gets to be the same it will probably not be worth it..

I really hope that nvidia gets their grip on the gpu prices. This is why I am also glad to see Intel coming on the market.

This card is currently on sale in the UK for £1449. That's 1736 euros or $1982. More than double MSRP of the 3080 10GB FE and £400 more expensive than a 3080Ti FE. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the AIB's - charging people more and giving them less value.

stop giving the aibs money for products that aren't inherently better than an FE.

Nvidia wont get a grip on reality. They do not care anymore.
Intel got humbled, Nvidia needs the same thing.

And I still can not understand that stupid obsession with 4k.......... Nearly 10 years of this can not wait for 4k60fps gpus, now 8k 60fps gpus, or 120 4k gpus.
16:9 sucks.

you don't understand how more pixels translates into more detailed image ?

that's true
it's not gonna happen though
intel got incredibly stagnant for a really long period of time, and got their ass kicked in the end.while it appears JHH lives and breathes to rub it in for the competition.
rdna2 has been the best that amd had to offer for a decade or longer, and nvidia still outsold them, probably worse than ever.
and it appears that amd are just satisfied with being second best, just as long as their markups are exorbitant too.

Nvidia is one bad product away from getting kicked in the ass too. Complete scumminess can get under the people skin especially those who feeds you.
Its all about mindshare like we discussed and all can change dont worry.
