Review: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Quick Silver 8G OC edition
MSI today releases a new GeForce GTX 1070, the Quick Silver OC edition sits in the Gaming series of products. Basically this GeForce GTX 1070 is a Gaming X model in a different jacket. This GTX 1070 has been fitted with Micron GDDR5 memory, as such we'll put tweaking stability to the test with the new BIOS. Next to that we upgraded our software suite and added game benchmarks with games like Battlefield 1, Deus Ex, Mafia III and Gears of War 4.

Fantastic to see that the card is running the new Bios update 86.04.50.00.2A that Micron memory card owners are waiting for.
Excellent to see that it has resolved the Micron memory Checkerboard/BSOD issue.
MSI has not started distributing the bios as yet. Any change that you could extract it and upload
MSI will have an update that will be available by latest this Friday based on the schedule they have right now.

MMMEEEHHHH...... the Galax gtx 1070 hof are much better cards and overclocks way better...mine and another guy on youtube both get 2164 and i get 9294 on memory

but yes i like silver too, as they are the same as gaming and they are at same price: it's just a color choise

White themed case users rejoice! I like the latest TwinFrozr model very much, and this color scheme looks very good too.
Too bad of the Micron memory thing, I mean, I have +700 24/7, and could even push push further (but without performance gains). On the other hand, I hope to make my Samsung memory a selling point, when I will upgrade and sell my 1070.
