G'day Sir and milady! In this article we review, test and benchmark the all new Core i7 5960X (Haswell-E) 8 core processor and smack it on one of the long awaited X99 motherboards. Intel's most high-end processor SKUs just got updated with three new models, the top dog being the enthusiast class eight-core processor series aimed at enthusiasts and pro-consumers.

We look at 5930K and 5820K processor performance as well. Read the review here.

No 3930k to compair with? I guess I will be keeping my 3930k that does 4.7 with a mear 1.328 volts and my R4BE board for the time being. I already had a draft set up on ebay to sell my parts, glad I waited and read some reviews first.

Im with you on this one, still a very detailed review, thanks

EDIT: I might even swap mine for a 4790k that does 4.9ghz @ 1.370v,

will see how that goes.. The one who wants my 4770k is really interested in it for LN2 lol :nerd:

Test that CPU with IntelBurn test at 4.9GHz max memory and see how long the test last with that voltage.
