1660/1660 S = 1408 shader cores
1660Ti = 1536
I know that^ but frame rates look almost identical?...that's all I care about.

Don't forget, Ti has 12 Gbps GDDR6 and the SUPER 14 Gbps.

Don't forget, Ti has 12 Gbps GDDR5 and the SUPER 14 Gbps.

It's a trade off with the Ti having more cores vs the Super's faster memory. But I think it's safe to say that nobody is gonna spend an extra $50 now for a Ti version, and the RX 590 is also out of the picture since the Super has a substantial lead over it. Throw in some overclocking and you really do have a beast value card. I wonder what retailers are gonna do with all the leftover Ti cards?

Edit: Hilbert replace your 5 with a 6 in your last post.

so they rebranded the 1660ti?.....the frame rates look almost identical?

it certainly seems they'll need a 1660Ti super to justify them selling the 1660ti at a higher price than the non Ti that's for sure,

With only a few fps difference compared to the old 1660, this seems as pointless as rebrands, which is pretty funny since this actually has a real hardware difference in the form of the memory chips.
